In June of 2014, David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation Director-turned-Service Arm Partner Kim McCabe Manzella and a group of 22 children gathered to form “Generation Dream” with the sole purpose of making a difference in the lives of families battling a cancer diagnosis. Over the next six months, 22 quickly grew to 75, and 75 has since exploded into hundreds of passionate children representing elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and even a university! The students in these groups not only create cards for patients, but also raise funds for DDBCF and serve as volunteers throughout the year at many of our exciting DDBCF events. Student-driven events provide practical experience and are highly anticipated community activities. The devotion of the youth initiative is impressive and we are looking forward to a very bright future with our patients as the benefactors of their good deeds through the stewardship of Kim, Director Steve Crisalli & teacher moderators.
