My family and I want to thank you so very much for the funds to help pay some of our monthly bills. I was diagnosed in September 2014 with Stage 4 breast cancer. Our journey has been very difficult at times, but knowing there are generous and caring foundations such as David’s Dream and Believe encourages us to carry on and continue this battle.  I know my condition is not contagious, but apparently, the community around us have a different perspective.  Nobody understands that each day is a struggle but it would be so encouraging if others could show their support through a simple text or email. Since my diagnosis, I have been doing well on Tamoxifen and have recently been prescribed another medication as there is belief that it may not be effective any longer.  I hope and pray this is not the case and this new medication will slow the disease progression.  I do believe each day that we will win this battle.  It may take longer to win but in the end I will beat this disease. I would be happy to lend my support to the Foundation in any way possible.   It is through your support and David’s Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation that restores my faith in others and that there are still people in this world willing to help others.   I will continue to keep in touch and provide updates. You may use my full name because I am not shameful for my condition.  I will continue to DREAM and BELIEVE in my DREAM every day.
