Dear David Caldarella,

I am writing this message for my husband Stephen and myself. My name is Christine.

In June of 2016 we lost our only son to an overdose. He was such a gentle son with a gentle soul.

In 2017 we were in the process of losing our home. We did.

Stephen became ill in late 2017. Besides the MDS, he also has prostate problems.

I tried to do the best I could financially and reached a point where despair set in. I prayed, cried silently and finally connected with a social worker. Through her, David’s Dream & Believe came into our lives.

I can’t thank you enough for your grant. It gave me the ability to breath. You and your organization are Godsends. Thank you so much for your generous grant.

This was the first time in our 75 years that we needed help and you were there for us. God bless you and everyone at DDBCF.
