When I was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, I was in shock and felt lost. Looking back, I was in denial of what cancer meant. Very soon after, I received a call from David. We have been friends for a few years and now we shared a common journey — fighting cancer! The support from DDBCF was more than I can express. My husband Dan and I own a store and deli and wanted to give back and help DDBCF help others who are fighting this terrible disease. We reached out to David (we already had the Dream Caprese in mind) and he said he loves Caprese sandwiches! We are connected in so many ways!
