My journey with DDBCF began with working and volunteering many years ago. I was introduced to David in 2015 and was truly inspired by his story and community
engagement. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2023, and immediately, without hesitation, David and the entire DDBCF came to my rescue. I was
immediately surrounded by so much love and support. Now in remission, I want to give back to the amazing community that helped me during the hardest time of my
life.  I am truly more grateful and inspired than ever before. I have learned so much about myself and to really pursue my goals, as you never know when your life
could change in an instant. I fill my days by working at the Sea Shell Resort during the summer and traveling the world the rest of the year. I can only hope to continue
to live a healthy life and continue living my dreams.
