Originally from Lacey, NJ, Dan’s fondest memories of Long Beach Island are of surfing it’s local breaks and working his way through school at Panzone’s in Surf City. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University where he obtained his BA degree in Communications. Dan started his career with CNN working in Media Operations in their Manhattan headquarters. He transitioned into a financial career in 2010 when he joined AXA Advisors where he obtained all his financial licenses and got his first experience with financial services. At AXA, Dan specialized in working with business owners and individuals on preserving and growing their assets. Being away from the water can only last so long for someone with such strong ties to the beach, and in 2016 Dan left New York City and joined Princeton Capital Management in Red Bank, NJ as VP of Sales. After working on corporate retirement plans for two years, Dan decided he is most fulfilled when he can help individuals and business owners in a one on one, personal setting. He recently started his own practice with New York Life and aspires to make a difference in each of his clients lives.
Dan met David Caldarella of David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation back in the summer of 2017 where he first learned about the Foundation’s mission. Since, Dan has become a regular donor, and has joined the “Mission of Hope” Giving Campaign. In his new role at New York Life, his goal is to become a resource for those associated with DDBCF, whether it be with assisting donors with their planned giving or working with patients and families to help navigate the financial complexities of a diagnosis.
Dan lives in Shark River, NJ with his Fiancée’ Nicole and their boxer Cooper. In his free time, you can find him surfing in Asbury Park, or when he has the chance, getting back to his favorite spots on Long Beach Island. He also enjoys writing and producing electronic music which he puts into practice as a DJ for Elite Entertainment. You can also catch him in action every year at The Makers Festival at Manahawkin Lake Park!
