“I first met Dave Caldarella at the first Cruisin’ For A Cure in Barnegat, NJ. Once I heard his story, I was amazed by his strength and drive to survive. I became closer with Dave throughout the following years as friends, and consider him family at this point. I’ve always supported the cause in one way or another in honor of David, my mother, father, sister, and other family members who have been effected by cancer. I decided last year that I would step up my role as an Advisory Board Member and join the ‘Mission Of Hope’ giving campaign. Lou’s Electric donates between $5 to $25 per job. I feel good about this because I know where the money was going and how much it would help these families in such a tough time. I know the foundation will continue to grow with the help of community members and help more & more families effected by this horrible diagnosis.
I’m so blessed to be a part of such an amazing foundation and to have Dave as my close friend. I’m honored that I can do something that can possibly help change lives for the better for those who have been inflicted with a cancer diagnosis. Thank you again for letting me be a part of the DDBCF Family.”
