Lori, and her husband, Jeff, live in Stafford. Southern Regional graduates and longtime community members love raising their four boys here. Lori is the Communications Director for Van Dyk Insurance. Jeff is one of the owners of the Van Dyk Group, specializing in Personal & Private Flood Insurance. When not in the office, you can find Lori cheering on her sons at the soccer, football, or lacrosse fields, the track, in the auditorium during a concert, or wherever their passion has taken them. Lori and Jeff genuinely feel blessed, so giving back has been an essential part of their lives.

Lori first met David years ago when her kids were a part of Generation Dream. He spoke to them at the Moose Lodge, sharing how unique their cards were to those who received them. The kids smiled, excited they were making a difference, and Lori immediately knew how incredible David and his foundation were. Since then, Lori’s mom, Angela, battled Colon Cancer, and her father, Bob, fought multiple types of cancer for over five years. David provided support, resources, a hug, and a shoulder. When her family lost Bob, David came to the funeral. This foundation touches many people and shines a light on a dark situation. The Van Dyk Group is now a proud partner in the “Mission of Hope.” Now, years after their first meeting, Lori is honored to be a member of the Advisory Board to work with David, and the rest of the board members, to help those families faced with the most difficult of situations.
