During our Spring Soiree, we proudly honored our friends: The Hughes Family and Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club as the 2025 Beacon of Hope Award recipients!
2013 was our first Island Gala at the Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club and we have only missed the 2020 event. This year will be our 12th event with the Hughes Family at the Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club but their kindness and generosity goes much deeper than that. Their unwavering support has made its’ way through Crabbin for a Cure, Hope Under the Sea, Coquina Jam, Participating as a Mission of Hope Partner with a designated menu item during the summer and most importantly hosting our largest and most successful fundraiser every year for the past 12 years! Since our inception, the Hughes Family have stepped up every single time and our patients and their families battling a cancer diagnosis are the beneficiaries of their kindness.
It has been an absolute joy to work & partner with this incredible family. From beachfront hospitality to heartfelt philanthropy, they embody the spirit of hope, healing, and hometown pride!
Our Board of Trustees take this award very seriously, and the tradition of recognizing extraordinary local families and businesses continue with the Hughes Family and the Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club in 2025.
