Dr. Daniel Pascetta and Megan Pascetta are the husband-and-wife team behind Southern Ocean Animal Hospital in Tuckerton, New Jersey, where they care for pets, support families, and serve the Southern Ocean County community with compassion and integrity.
Dr. Pascetta, known to many clients as Dr. Dan, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University in 2007 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2014. His veterinary interests include surgery, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, and advanced medical care for dogs, cats, and other pets. Through Southern Ocean Animal Hospital, he has helped build a trusted local veterinary practice serving Tuckerton, Little Egg Harbor, Manahawkin, Long Beach Island, Ocean County, and the surrounding Jersey Shore region.
Megan brings a thoughtful, science-minded, and family-centered approach to the practice and its continued growth. After years of dedication to her career as a scientist, she made the meaningful decision to take a more active role alongside Dr. Dan in guiding the next chapter of Southern Ocean Animal Hospital and Cranberry Creek Pet Lodging. Together, Daniel and Megan are focused on strengthening the connection between veterinary care, pet lodging, client trust, and community support.
Their involvement with David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation reflects the same values they bring to their work every day: showing up for people, caring deeply, and helping families through difficult moments. As local business owners, parents, animal lovers, and members of the Southern Ocean County community, Daniel and Megan are honored to support the Foundation’s Mission of Hope and its commitment to providing financial assistance, wellness resources, patient support, and hope to New Jersey families affected by a cancer diagnosis.
